Korean Food For All! I have always craved Korean food but had difficulties placing orders due to the language barrier. From the moment you walk in, I knew this was a different kind of place. Even on the gloomy day I walked in, the cheery ambiance brightened my mood. The menu was handwritten in plain English - the handwriting alone should be a font! Everything explained in plain old English with elaboration by your server if needed. Perhaps now is a good time to mention how good the food is?!? Food came out blazing hot and plentiful and quite yummy. If you are afraid of spicy, not to worry - they will spice by request. The food is catered to the Carnivore or Vegan in your life... Although there is only street parking, it is relatively easy to find and definitely worth your time! Perhaps now is a good time to try some very good Korean fare!!

The food is amazing. Got the ginseng chicken and the pork belly, both are amazing. The seafood pancake is just okay but they don't skim of the seafood. The service was a bit slow even though they were empty. It was a mom and pop place, very homey. They even have a cat outside.

I decided to come here for dinner on a week night and they were fairly empty inside, so it definitely feels like this restaurant is a bit of a hidden gem. It's still fairly spacious inside and has a decent amount of tables. However, the service was slower than I expected considering we were one of 2 groups inside. It took some time to get the staff's attention to order and also it took a while for the food to come out. We started with the seafood scallion pancake and I loved it. The pancake was super crispy and generously packed with seafood. It's definitely high on my list for a good seafood pancake. As for entrees, we ordered the stir fried chicken with noodles and the stir fried spicy pork with rice but it came out with noodles instead. We didn't bother sending it back as it took a while to come out and didn't want to make a hassle out of it. The food came out hot and tasted really homey. The flavors were good so no complaints about that. Overall, I would return and try the other dishes.

HIDDEN GEM HOLE IN THE WALL MOM AND POP SHOP I've been coming here frequently for the last year and it is my absolutely #1 favorite place to get lunch or dinner. :) All the dishes here are so fresh, clean, and DELICIOUS. You CANNOT come here WITHOUT trying the chive seafood pancake! Absolutely the BEST SEAFOOD PANCAKE YOU WILL EVER TRY. It is soo crispy and packed with seafood. I honestly can't eat seafood pancakes at other restaurants anymore because no other place can compare or top this one ..... Other than that I usually get their kimchi jjigae, aged pork belly, aged short rib, and their fishes (but I've also tried multiple other dishes depending what I'm feeling, these are usually just my go to.) PLEASE BE PATIENT when coming here because the owners are the only ones running this place. The owners are working very hard to cook, clean, and serve everyone. If you are in a rush, please do not come during peak hours. (But definitely come back when you aren't in a rush or come earlier in the day). Please keep in mind they are also usually closed from 4-5pm for a lunch break (again the owners are the only ones running this place, they need a break and to eat too!) They serve different salads/side dishes/fruits from time to time so you may not be getting the same thing every time. Their menu sometimes changes throughout the year as well. Bring cash if you can, there's a 5% cash discount. FUN FACTS: When you go in, you'll notice the artwork and decorations right away. Everything was handmade and designed by the owner themselves and all the lovely artwork was also painted by the owner The tea they serve you is also different everyday and is also made by the owner themselves!

The food here was delicious and tasted like a home cooked meal. The ambiance definitely makes you feel like you are home. The service was good as well considering it was one person working the floor and one person working the kitchen.

Came in for early dinner, i was told this place can get busy. My daughter had been here for lunch service a couple of months ago and she mentioned the food is very good. Tonight we order a scallion oancaje with shrimp and shredded pork with vegetables platter. It was only the 2 of us, would have liked more food to try the rest of menu but that will be for the next time. The pancake had very good size shrimps, very tasty, nice crunchy edges. The shredded pork platter was served in a sizzling cast iron platter. Very tasty pork, well seasoned, nice mix of purple onions, eggplant, zucchini, carrots, soya beans and a slightly spicy-sweet sauce. Both were good size servings. I love the decorations around the room, from the outside you really cannot figure out what ti expect. Suddenly you step inside and its a very stylish, home like environment with lots of hand made paintings and artifacts on the walls. I feel like i am visiting an artist or a painter from all the paintings and murals built into the walls. Extremely clean tables and the one lady serving us tonight was very sweet, attentive and courteous. Will definitely come back with more family to taste the rest of the menu. You get a discount if you oay cash, otherwise you can use your CC and pay the credit card fee.

The scallion pancake with seafood is to die for! My husband and I order it every time we come here. There's a generous portion of seafood and it's fried to perfection! I also highly recommend the gingseng stuffed chicken soup. All the dishes here taste freshly cooked and made with love. The menu isn't huge and the side dishes are small and don't have much variety, but the food is delicious! Highly recommend giving them a try if you are in the area.

The food was SO good, fresh, and homey. Their marinated crab is better than Myung San in terms of roe, plumpness, and taste; I was so impressed I wanted to order more. Nuruk marinated pork belly was a winner, it tastes almost like miso and I haven't seen it anywhere else here even with the plethora of Korean restaurants. It's served sizzling with onions, microgreens, and oyster mushroom. The interior is very whimsical with a lot of plants and paintings of nature.

Very prettily decorated with murals and plants. Has a homely feel to it. Service was quick and friendly. They serve fresh banchan: a tomato salad, spicy fish cakes, cabbage and daikon kimchi, and spicy eggplants They also serve a cold tea. I'm not sure what kind of tea it was, but it reminded of fruit loops for some reason. Maybe the slight sweetness with the earthy taste. Very good, but interesting for my taste buds. I was craving crab, so I got the Ganjanggejang (raw marinated crab), which comes with 2 crabs and rice. The crabs were in season, so they had lots of roe! They were well marinated, which was delicious when mixed with the rice. Got a glove to hold the crab while I scooped out its innards. Great Korean spot for homemade dishes!

Came here for late lunch on a Sunday and everything is delicious. It's fun supporting mom and pop shops! We had the - Spanish Mackerel and it was very tasty with no hint of fishiness Kimchi Chigae with pork rib. The soup was super savory, rich, and sour from the kimchi. The pork ribs were a little bit dry though Bulgolgi was exactly what it should be and the added vegetables added some lightness to the dish. It is a very big portion too.
